Set of teeth belonging to the grandfather of the Great White!


This lot contains a set of teeth of Cosmopolitodus Hastalis, a large shark considered to be a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark. C. Hastalis lived in the Miocene, 23 - 5,3 million years ago, and could grow to no less than 10 meters. 
 

The teeth in this lot, varying in length from 22mm to 350mm, were found in Belgian waters, in the region of Antwerp.
